Welcome Podshock listeners

Recently I had the privilege of being invited to appear on the excellent Doctor Who podcast Doctor Who: Podshock alongside my friend and musical mentor Dominic Glynn. We discussed our history, recent projects (collaborative and otherwise), as well as the Doctor Who Theme Repository and the upcoming Doctor Who fan film Restoration of the Daleks, which I provided the score for and hopefully will make its debut very soon.
For those of you who haven’t heard the interview yet, I encourage you to do so! It’s available here. My interview is from 30 minutes right up to the one-hour mark, but the whole podcast is a treat so I won’t blame you if you get caught up listening to the whole thing.
For those of you curious about some of the things I talked about on the show, I thought I’d compile a few of them on here.
For one thing, anyone who wants to listen to my ancient recreation of Dominic Glynn’s 1986 theme that I talked about is welcome to do so. It’s complete crap and I no longer stand by it in any way, but it shows some of my early work as I was still learning the ropes and getting started making music.
As another special treat, I’m uploading a new remixed version of Dom’s full-length theme I did, called the DG Cosmos Mix. It incorporates elements from both the opening and closing themes, as well as a special recut bassline and some elements from the original Derbyshire theme. I hope you enjoy it.
I also encourage you to listen to some of my other music, which is available via the Music page in the navbar up top. There are some Doctor Who themes on there, but I’m more proud of the original stuff that’s there and I encourage you to check out all of it. Also, please check back when Restoration of the Daleks premieres, because I’ll have some special stuff in there for download only.
So anyway, thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my interview on Podshock, and if you have any questions, comments, or requests, please feel free to leave them here or send them to me via the Contact form up top. Thank you!
UPDATE: Oh, and I almost forgot. If you’re interested, please feel free to follow me on Twitter!
